Demon Slayer (Sukiyaki) Bento Recipe

Demon Slayer Bento (Sukiyaki Bento)

Demon Slayer Bento (鬼滅の刃 牛鍋弁当) is a popular Bento that appeared in the mega-hit anime movie Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba.  It is a beef bowl or Sukiyaki beef over Steamed Rice in a Bento box.  Whether you like this anime series or movies or not, this is one of the great tasting train station Bento of all time.

Demon Slayer is comic book (manga) and animation (anime) by Koyoharu Gotouge. It is the story of a boy taking revenge on demons for killing his parents and turning his sister into a demon.  The main character Tanjiro earns his skills as he battles with demons, and develops friendships with other demon slayers.

This Sukiyaki Bento was eaten by Rengoku, a fellow demon slayer, on a train, and he seemed to be very fond of it.  It is a pretty common train station Bento in reality too, made of strongly flavored meat and vegetables that tastes good even when cold.  Steamed rice that has absorbed the sweet and salty Sukiyaki sauce is delicious and appeals to many people.  It is a simple Bento with beef, Tofu, Naganegi white onion, and egg.  If you’re actually making it for your family, you may want add some more vegetables.  Or just enjoy the authenticity of the Demon Slayer take.

Even if you don’t know anything about Demon Slayer, that’s ok, this is still a very tasty Bento for you and your family.  But if you are making this for your kids (or adults) who are fans of the animation, we guarantee that you’ll be a very very popular person.  Try this yummy Bento!
