Miso Soup with Bacon, Cabbage, and Onion

Ingredients

instant dashi powder

Miso paste
Instructions
Slice onion thinly, and cut cabbage into bite size pieces. Cut bacon thinly.
Heat a medium size pot and saute bacon at medium heat for a few minutes. Remove oil with a paper towel.
Add onion, cabbage, water, and instant dashi powder. Cover and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
Add the miso paste and turn off the heat.
