Notes

Karaage is good as is, but you can also change its taste with different seasonings and dipping sauce.  Add 1-2 Tbsp of curry powder to flour and starch mixture, and cook the same way.  The curry flavored fried chicken is a great appetizer with beer or your favorite drinks.  Or simply serve Karaage with tangy Japanese mayonnaise sprinkled with Shichimi red pepper on the side.  This easy dipping sauce will enhance the taste of Karaage even more.
