Ingredients

  • 1 sweet or brown onion
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 Tbsp butter
  • 1 Tbsp soy sauce

Instructions 

  • Peel the onion and slice into 1 1/2" thick medallions.
  • Heat a large frying pan with olive oil. Cook the onion at medium to medium low heat covered for 10 minutes, turning once.
  • Add the butter and soy sauce. Coat the onion with the sauce.
