Miso Soup with Onion Pork Belly Tofu

Ingredients

  • 1/2 brown onion
  • 1/2 Tofu (about 7 oz (200 g))
  • 5 oz pork belly (thinly sliced)
  • 4 cups Dashi
  • 4 Tbsp Miso paste
  • 1 green onion (thinly sliced)

Instructions 

  • Thinly slice the brown onion. Cut the tofu into small cubes and the pork into strips.
  • Bring the Dashi to a boil, then add the brown onion and pork. Cover and cook for 2 minutes.
  • Dissolve the miso paste in the soup. Top with sliced green onion. Serve immediately.
